Questions, answered
Do we have to use the rest of the suite?
No. Vigilimate runs standalone on its own host with its own login, and plenty of teams use it that way. If you also run Accelimate, you add Vigilimate to the same account and single sign-on carries you between them.
Is this a certification body?
No. Training programs issue certificates of completion. They support preparation for certification, but they do not by themselves certify an organisation. What Vigilimate gives you is the evidence trail — who was trained, on what version, who signed off, and when.
How does it map to a standard like ISO 27001 or HIPAA?
Curriculum is traceable down to the clause. A program maps its modules to the specific clauses they cover, so the per-organisation evidence pack shows exactly which requirement each completion speaks to.
Can we put it inside our own application?
Yes. Drop training into your app with a single iframe and a short-lived JIT token, drive assignments and progress over the REST API, and receive signed webhooks for completions, assessments, awards and phishing events. There is a typed SDK package for both.
What happens when a certification lapses?
Recertification windows are built in. The platform schedules refresher assignments ahead of the window, and handles the lapse explicitly rather than letting a credential quietly go stale. Completion records are version-pinned, so publishing a new course version never rewrites history.
